Learners from The Stable School’s Year 8 classes, Bude and Fistral, embarked on an exciting educational trip to the Bournemouth Oceanarium, where they explored the wonders of marine life up close.
As they wandered through the mesmerising underwater tunnel, learners found themselves surrounded by vibrant fish, majestic sharks, and graceful rays, creating a truly immersive experience. The trip included interactive exhibits and engaging educational talks, bringing the mysteries of the ocean to life and deepening their understanding of marine conservation.
Denise Carpenter, School Principal, highlighted the importance of such trips in enriching learners’ learning experiences:
“Educational visits like this are invaluable. They provide hands-on learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and foster a deeper connection with the world. Seeing marine life up close not only enhances scientific understanding but also nurtures a sense of responsibility for protecting our environment.”
This visit to the Oceanarium proved to be both fun and educational, sparking enthusiasm for marine conservation and expanding the learners’ knowledge beyond the classroom. The Stable School remains committed to providing dynamic and engaging learning opportunities that encourage exploration, curiosity, and a passion for the natural world.
